The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Could Billy Abbott And Adam Newman Finally Become Allies?
Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may find common ground.
They bonded recently over being the black sheep of their respective powerful families, but is there more to this comradery than meets the eye?
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman & Billy Abbott Have A Tumultuous History
Y&R spoilers note that anything is possible in the land of Genoa City. After all, if Ashley Abbott-McCall (Eileen Davidson) can form a truce with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), then there’s hope for Billy and Adam, right?
Still, the issues between Billy and Mr. Newman stem from more than just a family company or empire; the history between these men is far more personal.
After all, Adam was the reason behind the hit-and-run in 2013 that killed Billy’s daughter, Delia Abbott (Sofie Pollono).
While he unknowingly hit the little girl, and it was an accident, after some investigation of his own, he realized what he had done.
Instead of coming forward, like a coward, he purposely covered up his involvement until the truth eventually came out.
Young and the Restless Updates – It’s Time To Move On, For Connor’s Sake
For those fans who recall, shortly after Delia’s death, her eyes were donated to help Adam’s son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), who required a cornea transplant in order to see.
The beautiful thing about this all is despite their fathers’ quarrels; Connor grew up seeing the world through the young girl’s eyes.
They say time heals all wounds and considering all that both men have gone through, maybe it’s time to put the past in the past and become friends.
After all, Billy is a huge (and positive) influence in Connor’s life, now that he’s dating Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
The two may have to co-parent at some point if Chilly decides to take their romance to the next level.
While it’s been about a decade since Delia passed away, it’s hard to say that Billy will ever forget what Adam’s done, but he certainly has forgiven him.
