Young and the Restless & Hallmark Star Hunter King Postpones Wedding – But Why?
The Young and the Restless alum and current Hallmark Channel movies sensation, Hunter King, got engaged to Chris Copier in 2024; however, she recently informed fans she has postponed her 2025 wedding. CBL has all the details on this, below.
Hunter King Is A Busy Bee
King is riding an incredible wave, recently starring in Hallmark’s #1 holiday movie for 2024, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. In addition, she could be starring in CBS’s The Neighborhood spin-off, plus, she’s set to marry the love of her life, Copier.
In March 2025, she hopped on social media, asking Instagram followers to help her plan her wedding, which was a mere four months away. Still, with everything that’s going on in her life, would this be enough time to juggle her acting career while organizing the wedding of her dreams? Something has got to give, right?
Reset For 2026
During the Hearts Of Stars podcast, King stated that she and her fiancé had decided to postpone their wedding to 2026. She states, “I know I had put on Instagram that we were getting married in four months.”
She goes on to note, “… oh, my gosh, the planning was just crazy! It was getting overwhelming.” Hunter went on to add, “Then we ran into a few snags with just, like, family events going on, and then things with our venue. And, so, we actually decided to push our wedding now to 2026.”
The Professional Bridesmaid star did not go into detail about the problems with the venue. With that said, she revealed that one big reason to move the wedding was also because of the uncertainty around The Neighborhood spin-off, as CBS had not made a decision to move forward with the it.
Still, she did say that she and Chris are now getting hitched in early 2026, and they are having a destination wedding, in Steven Piet, Mallorca. Both of Hunter’s sisters, Joey and Kelli said their, ‘I do’s’ there so it’s a family tradition.
