Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton) recently opened up to Soap Opera Digest about Lucas’ new prison look. Bryan says it was fun to grow his hair out and grow a goatee for the prison run. He says he just let it go and whatever hair grew he went with it. According to Bryan, Lucas is very hippie.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Bryan believes it was time for a change. Lucas is in prison and that life isn’t easy. You have to roll with the punches and sometimes fight for your life. Being locked up in prison was the ideal way to change Lucas from the guy he used to be to the guy he is now because prison changes people.
Don’t expect Lucas’ looks to be all that has changed. Lucas has lost a lot and is about to lose someone else who is close to him. Bryan wanted to reflect that is his portrayal this time around. Lucas has nowhere to go. Lucas has nothing to lose and Bryan wanted that to come across loud and clear. Bryan says it may or may not be a good thing but he is trying to do things he’s never done as an actor before.
Days Of Our Lives Updates – Bryan Dattilo Is Back Short Term
Lucas isn’t sticking around for long since he’s still in prison, perhaps a week or two. Bryan goes on to say that this time around was filled with fun and new opportunities. Of course, Days tapes months ahead usually so this has been done for a while. Bryan says it was a sweet couple of weeks. Of course, Bryan isn’t working with the same actors this time either. Look for some prison drama.
Lucas is in prison with Orpheus (George DelHoyo) who is responsible for his mother’s illness and now death. Bryan says he got to explore the angle of being locked up with Orpheus and the drama that caused. Bryan says he got to work with a few people that he has always wanted to work with. Of course, after being around off and on for decades, that had to be a nice payoff.

Bryan says he got to work with Drake Hogestyn (John Black) and Stephen Nichols (Steve Johnson). Bryan had never gotten to work with either in this manner before and totally enjoyed it. Bryan says they became the comedy crew of Drake, Stephen, and Bryan. Bryan loves that new direction that the character is taking and working with different people was “awesome”.
Lucas is likely to run into Orpheus after he finds out his mother has just died so those scenes should be pretty intense. Some spoilers suggest that Lucas will be out to take Orpheus down for killing Kate. Will Lucas succeed where so many others have failed?
