Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) was accused of calling child services. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) believes his wife lied to him when denying she was responsible.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) believes Brooke betrayed him because he heard her voice on a digital file Walter Barnes (Steve Richard Harris) played for him and Thomas at the Forrester mansion. But the audience noticed that Brooke’s voice did not sound normal and whoever spoke did so in what felt like scripted terms.
Thomas is the most likely suspect to have framed Brooke because of his past behavior and the threat he just made to her. She said Douglas did not belong with him and that likely made Thomas react using his usual devious methods.
The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Liam Spencer Knows Wife Is Vulnerable
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) recently spoke to himself, with the audience hearing that he was concerned Thomas was getting inside Hope’s head once again. Liam’s fears were justified because of the many instances where Thomas used emotional manipulation, specifically connected to Douglas, to influence Hope’s mind.
Thomas knows Hope has a soft spot for Douglas, and through him, Atkinson’s character gained a major opening into her life. But that angle closed in recent years while Douglas lived full-time with Hope and Liam at the cabin.
Thomas’ recent change of heart meant Douglas’ living arrangement was challenged. Liam, like Brooke, recognizes that Thomas is again insinuating himself into Hope’s life through Douglas.
Hope Spencer Wants What Is Best For Son
Hope has been a wonderful mother figure to Douglas. Her choice to adopt him went above and beyond compassion. She decided to become a mother through legal adoption, with Thomas fully backing that effort.
Based on what the audience saw in recent weeks, it appears that Thomas is allowing his mind to veer toward Hope’s obsession. He seems to be thinking that she is a realistic romantic target.
So, framing Brooke would be intended to split her and Liam from Hope. With Hope isolated, she would back Thomas’ increased presence in Douglas’ life. But with that would come Thomas’ increased role in Hope’s world.
