General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may be the one who ultimately takes out Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Victor threatened to take him out and Nikolas reminded him what happened to Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) after she tried controlling him.
General Hospital Spoilers – Fed Up
Nikolas is fed up with Victor trying to control him and is especially tired of him trying to break up him and Ava Cassadine (Maura West). Nikolas had told Victor that the Cassadine legacy is in his hands, and Victor chastised him for not obeying him, the family patriarch. Nikolas was pretty upset and he was offended at Victor’s trying to take control over him and especially upset when Victor announced he was moving back into Wyndemere Castle.
Victor told Nikolas that he needed supervision but was able to stall him off by telling him that the castle was under renovation. The last thing Nikolas needs is for Victor to discover he’s got a pregnant Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) locked up in the North Tower.
General Hospital Updates – Playing The Game
Ava had come looking for Nikolas at The Metro Court and was going to give Victor a piece of her mind after finding Nikolas’ written confession to killing Esmé missing. Nikolas explained that Victor had it but then discussed his recorded confession on Ava’s phone, and they made a deal to pretend divorce for Victor’s benefit. Victor returned at that point and Nikolas mentioned the divorce and left with his great uncle after Ava made a snide remark about Victor returning from hell. Nikolas managed to have convinced that Ava would make herself a target if she came against Victor herself, former mob queen or not. Neither Nikolas nor Ava takes well to someone’s attempt at control; they are both people who need to be the ones in control.
Plots And Plans
Nikolas isn’t the first Cassadine progeny to want to take out Victor, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) said he would if he had to as well. For Nikolas, the control he resents from Victor is over his relationship with the woman he loves and wants to stay married to, namely Ava. For Valentin, it is his only daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McClain) who Victor has been using as a pawn to control him; he had admitted it to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Victor is obviously messing with things he shouldn’t be messing in and controlling family members who don’t need his control and resent it. But Nikolas’ anger is mounting, and he is perfectly willing to take out the Cassadine patriarch who loves control much more than he does his family.
