General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Spencer’s Nightmare: Did He See Ava’s Attack?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has a nightmare. Did he see Ava Cassadine’s (Maura West) attack on his drunken night out, and now it’s coming back to him?

General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Was Blackout Drunk

Spencer was blackout drunk the night his stepmother, Ava Cassadine (Maura West) was brutally attacked with a weapon of opportunity. She was nursing a cup of likely vodka as she stood on the deck of the Quartermaine boathouse when someone grabbed a glove and a large hook, coming at her from behind. Unfortunately, by the time she was found bleeding out by Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) the attacker was long gone, as was the weapon.

Spencer would be under suspicion as well as many others who attended the Quartermaine charity picnic, having had his world turned upside down. He walked in on Ava and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) arguing, and Ava had brought up, and loudly, Nikolas having had sex with Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

General Hospital Updates – Being Accused Didn’t Help

Spencer checked into the Metro Court under the assumed name of Fred Flintstone only to have his horrible hangover headache interrupted by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). He woke up to the accusations of Victor wanting to know if he tried to drunkenly off Ava, and Spencer reminded Victor he could be implicated as well. Neither confessed to the crime, deciding among themselves that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was the one who likely needed protecting. However, Victor had planted a seed of doubt in Spencer’s mind as to whether he might have attacked her, not remembering anything from the night before. Spencer had been angry at Ava, but not nearly as angry as he’d been at his father, cutting all ties with him then and there.

Living A Nightmare And Dreaming One

The next few days find Spencer living a nightmare, not knowing whether he could have been the one who attacked Ava or not.  He was more interested in supporting Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) at GH and ran from the room where Victor remained, saying he couldn’t talk right then. However, if Victor had seen blood on Spencer’s clothes he’d have said it and he didn’t.

Spencer wakes up from a horrible nightmare where he sees Ava bleeding out on a deck and wonders if he had been there. He knew where Ava was found from talking to Trina, but doesn’t remember being there; now he wonders if he saw the attack, but still has no details.
