Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that Paulina Price (Jackée Henry) will be blindsided when she finds out that her daughter Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) kissed a girl in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Chanel Dupree Has Kissed Allie Horton Twice Now
Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Chanel has kissed Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) twice now – once in public, and once in private. The public kiss was witnessed by Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and he was a bit, shall we say, confused. Allie assured him it was just a girl kiss between two best friends and it didn’t mean she was into girls.
They had been borderline tipsy after cocktails anyway that time. Allie was a little freaked out at her own reaction at the time in private, however. Chanel doesn’t seem fazed by anything and obviously appreciates manly bodies also, especially it would seem those she has no business with, such as Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey!) Days of Our Lives viewers will also recall that Salem is a very small town, and there is no telling who might know about Chanel kissing Allie and get it back to someone who might tell someone who might tell someone else, and it falls on Paulina’s ears!
Paulina has not exactly been a hands-on mother most of Chanel’s life, she has always been much more busy building her career than she has been raising and nurturing Chanel. Paulina always has made sure Chanel had everything that she needed and in most cases wanted physically, but emotionally, not so much. Paulina is starting to recognize her mistakes with Chanel and it really freaks her out when she hears Chanel might like girls!
Days Of Our Lives Updates – Paulina Price Realizes She Does Not Know Her Own Daughter
Paulina realizes that she does not know her own daughter – or at least not as well as she thought! She knows that Chanel has dated boys, she dated Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) but Theo wouldn’t take her back to Africa with him. She knows she had crushes on boys when she was a young teenager, but hearing someone’s opinion that Chanel is into girls really has Paulina taken aback!
How much time did she miss really getting to know her daughter while she was busy with building her empire? She knows her daughter likes to spend money – or max out credit cards. She knows her daughter has a problem with finishing what she starts and being motivated to be a success. Well, at least what Paulina would consider a success anyway! Paulina realizes that she will never win a mother of the year award – her niece Lani Grant’s (Sal Stowers) love she showers on her twins is not lost on her.
Paulina wouldn’t exactly disapprove if Chanel wanted to date girls – it’s just that it hit her that perhaps she didn’t know her daughter as well as she thought she did. Days of Our Lives viewers know that Chanel is sort of a wild child, and she may be trying to figure out who she is and what she wants, and that includes her sexuality. Paulina decides that maybe the best thing to do is simply to ask Chanel if she’s into girls because someone told her that they thought she might be!
