Napping is absolutely essential
You need your rest all the time. No one can tell you not to nap or just have a chill out on the sofa. When you want to relax, everyone backs off and just lets you. Bliss.
Your hair actually gets thicker
This one is not a myth! When you’re pregnant, your hair actually starts to get thicker. This was actually one of the first things I noticed. It looked so luscious and glossy.
Strangers become very kind to you
People who don’t even know you will start to treat you like royalty. You notice this one about the same time that you start to show. Everyone you meet will be uber kind to you.
People will stand up to give you their seat
Plus, when you’re on the bus, people will always get up and let you sit down. Suddenly, you and your baby take priority in the very best way.
You have an excuse to eat what you want
Feeling a little hungry? Well, I’m not surprised. You have to eat more when you’re pregnant… I know I did. Now is the time to stock up on all the things you want.
Naming your child is loads of fun
You, your family, and your partner will have a ton of fun trying to name your child. Picking out the right name for them will become one of your favorite games.
Feeling the baby kick is incredible
When you first feel that baby kick, it’s an incredible feeling. I can’t even describe how happy it made me when it first happened.
Your partner starts to change too
As your delivery date comes closer and closer, you will start to feel excited about being a mom. Your partner will also change. Suddenly, you will see them turn into a dad… It’s amazing to watch!
People give you the space you need
If you feel like you need some space, you can just go ahead and ask for it. It takes a minute. People will understand that you need some time alone and be happy to give it you!
Waiting for your bundle of joy!
Finally, the best thing about being pregnant is the anticipation of the baby. Waiting for your bundle of joy to come is just so very exciting. You should honestly treasure every moment of it.
