Sometimes, there are some not-so-fun truths about being a mom. Adele’s supportive, but slightly profane, rant on breastfeeding is not only hilarious, but full of honesty. It’s always refreshing to get an honest and candid take on parenthood. And, mommy Adele is not one to hold back!
The ‘Hello’ songstress connected with her audience during her concert last week. Adele has a talent for charming her fans and always delivers quiet the experience. Being her usual, candid self, the celebrity mother of sweet little Angelo talked about hot topic parenting issue – breastfeeding.
“Breastfeeding mummies? You know what, the pressure on us is f**king ridiculous, and if you’re one of those people who puts the pressure on you can go f**k yourselves,” she quipped. “Because it’s hard, some of us can’t do it. I managed about nine weeks, and now my boobs . . . I mean, I’d trip over them but I’ve got a very good push-up bra.“
Adele supported the choice saying, “Breastfeed if you can, but don’t worry, cow’s milk is just as good. . . . All I wanted was to breastfeed my kid, and now I feel like, if I was in the jungle back in the day my kid would be dead because all my milk’s gone. It’s not funny!“
