Perfect For Kids: Easter Egg Rice Krispie Treats
How cute are these Easter Egg Rice Krispie Treats?
Young children will have no problem taking part in creating this fun and tasty treat! Let your youngster shape their own treat with an egg shaped cookie cutter. Then let their creative juices flow when decorating the egg treat.
Ingredients
1 8 ct package Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treat
8 lollipop sticks
Wilton gel icing in ‘spring’ colors – I used pink, blue and green
Egg shaped cookie cutter
Directions
Use the egg shaped cookie cutter to cut each Rice Krispie Treat egg shapes and then insert a lollipop stick into the base of each egg (see photo).
Use the Wilton gel icing to decorate the eggs. I did zig-zag patterns but you could do whatever you like and have fun with it.
*Makes 8 servings. 1 Rice Krispie Treat Egg = 1 serving.
