Help Bring a ‘Feel Better’ Smile to a Child’s Face #SmilingItForward
What child doesn’t love the winter season? From building snowmen, snow forts, skating and tobogganing there are an endless variety of activities to enjoy. Unfortunately, the outdoor fun also brings something that is not so fun – COLDS!
Like most parents, I can tell right away when my 2-year-old daughter, Ava is getting sick. That natural glow she has disappears and she becomes attached to mommy’s hip. Within a day she has a fever and the typical sickness symptoms are bugging her. It breaks my heart to see her depressed face and my inability to get rid of what’s bugging her. All I can do is offer my comfort and love till the sickness passes.
What’s the best thing about Ava getting over a sickness? When she gets the “feel better” smile and I know my little girl will be back to herself soon. The smile that she gets on her face when she runs around the house playing with her toys and leaves the room looking like a tornado hit it after all her fun. The sparkle she gets in her eyes warms my heart.
Creating those “feel better” smiles is what TYLENOL® is all about. For decades, moms and pediatricians have relied on TYLENOL® to provide relief from fever and pain. The smile of good health is one every child deserves and every mom should see.
That’s why TYLENOL® has teamed up with How I Met Your Mother star and mom of two, Alyson Hannigan, to launch the SMILING IT FORWARD™ campaign. Together, they hope to set the power of giving in motion, inviting everyone to share smiles of good health to help children in need.
By simply sharing a photo that makes you smile, TYLENOL® will make a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund (up to $100,000). The Funds mobile medical clinics provide children in need with access to the doctors, nurses and medicine they deserve. Their goal is to ensure a doctor’s visit is always within reach for children in need.
I’m SMILING IT FORWARD™ because not only is my daughter smiling, but with her smile I’m helping to make more smiles possible for families in need.
How You Can SMILING IT FORWARD™
It’s super simple! Just head on over to the SMILING IT FORWARD™ website and upload a photo of your child that makes you smile. By sharing a photo of your smiling child you will be helping children in need smile more!

Awww, great campaign idea. I always use Tylenol when my kiddos are sick.
Oh what adorable kids. While I try to avoid over the counter (or prescription) medication whenever possible, it’s a great campaign that is worth mentioning indeed. Kudos to them for doing it.
I can totally tell when my boys are starting to come down with something too. I have always trusted Tylenol as a good brand to deal with their fevers when they are sick.
I usually use Tylenol whenever my kids are sick. There is always something in my medicine cabinet.
Awwwe. The care that only mommies could give for her kid. I think it’s reslly great with what Tylenol is doing, and it’s not onlt fun for kids, but fun for the moms too!
I love Tylenol for my kids, it is so gentle on them and works quick. The only thing I would change is the print on the bottle, trying to find my glasses at 3am with a sick crank child is never fun, lol.
I love the SMILING IT FORWARD campaign. Seeing all these happy pics makes ME smile!
