Jennifer Garner Teaches Parents and Kids How to Eat Fresh This Summer
Jennifer Garner is teaming up with Frigidaire to teach parents and kids how to eat fresh this summer. The program is led by Adam Kay, chef and kitchen director for Blue Hill at Stone Barns restaurant. Together, they kicked off the Frigidaire Kids’ Cooking Academy Summer Session, which gave families some insight into the seasonality of food and experience in preparing meals from just-picked ingredients.
“I’m a huge fan and avid supporter of my local Farmers Market,” said Garner. “Showing kids how foods go from farm to table is an important first step in creating healthy eating habits. The Frigidaire Summer School is a great way to educate kids and their parents about the importance of eating fresh.”
