Disclosure Day: Why Spielberg’s Thriller Triggers Our Ancient Fears
Check out the 'Aliens as Demons' theory and why Spielberg's Disclosure Day might trigger ancestral fears across the world.

Whenever Steven Spielberg makes a movie about what else might be out in space, people sit up and take a lot of notice, and with Disclosure Day launching in June, hype intensifies. What causes that reaction? Read on to find out why the movie already triggers fear in some circles.
The Possessed Meteoroligist
The new movie’s not about cute E.T. or the awe of Close Encounters. Notably, if Emily Blunt as a meteorologist “possessed” by an alien signal is anything to go by, the audience might be set for a horror factor similar to War of the Worlds.
Right now, it doesn’t take a lot of scrolling on sites like YouTube or Reddit to find conversations that go beyond any anticipated jump scares. Certainly, it seems that tons of people claim that aliens don’t come from another planet. Apart from those who believe they lived underwater or underground for millennia, others believe they might even be demons.
Aliens Are Scary Demons?
If you think we’re talking up something silly here, it’s not us. In fact, it seems that Disclosure Day helps certain thinkers blow up it all up into a cultural phenomenon. For example, people like Pastor Josh Howerton and others take Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) or UFOs very seriously.

Perhaps you saw researchers mention on sites like Woman Alive that aliens aren’t just interdimensional beings, but spiritual ones. Actually, the theory seems rather common among people who work with the spiritual world in religious circles.
Notably, they lean toward alien entities being a “Great Deception.” In other words, they’re not here to be your bestie. Claims arise that in fact, they might even be posing as some sort of very clever saviors, and the devout shall be led astray. Okay, that seems a bit heavy for any day of the week, never mind Sunday, but tons of people tie in whistleblower headlines with ancient spiritual warnings.
Other Faiths, Similar Angles – Islam
Interestingly, it’s not just those in the Christian faith who see a different side to UAPs. Actually, the idea of deceptive, non-human entities gets some attention in Islam. Shaykh.AI discusses the teachings of “Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi,” noting that in Islam, spiritual entities known as Jinn appear in the “Holy Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.”
The suggestion ties them to aliens depicted in Disclosure Day in a belief that they live in a parallel dimension: that they have “societies” and “civilizations.” And, the belief seems to lean towards Jinn engaging with humans, influencing folks, and mostly as trouble makers.
Asuras In Hinduism & ‘Star People’
Next up, in Hinduism, there exist some Ancient Vedic texts. In that instance, they’re named as Asuras. If you don’t know, apparently, they seem very powerful, and once again, of a deceptive nature. As some folks across the world suspect, the theory arises that they interacted with humans on Earth for millennia.
That’s not all, because some indigenous traditions from the USA to Africa talk about “Star People.” Of course, that leads modern day theorists to suggest that these entities might not be our friends, either. Actually, sci-fi author Daniel H. Wilson suggested in Hole in the Sky, that “Star Poeple” might tie in with similar storylines like the one in the upcoming Spielberg movie.
Brilliantly Tapping Into Ancestral Fears
Every movie buff knows by now, that Steven Spielberg has a rep for brilliantly tageting what keeps folks listening to the sounds of the night in a state of unease. Clicking sounds, possession stories, and no doubt, the clever use of audio that plays on our imaginations, likely trigger ancestral fears.
The bottom line is that Disclosure Day meets across many cultures. Notably, it doesn’t matter if you believe they’re Grays, Nordics, or other biological beings. It doesn’t matter if you think they might be interdimensional Jinn, or even Demons. Why not? Well, it seems that Spielberg taps into a single question that everyone can relate to: are they entities we can trust? And, are their intentions beneficial to humankind?
