The Young And the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Cameron’s Kidnapping Storyline ‘Just Like A Car Crash?’
They say that timing is everything, but it looks like some people just aren’t paying attention to their watches here. The Young and the Restless fans have pretty much all said the same thing when it comes to Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), his terror, and his Faith Newman kidnapping storyline: it’s all happening way too fast. That, and it seems like the outcome of it all is pretty predictable, too. Here’s what you need to know.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Cameron’s Kidnapping Storyline ‘Just Like A Car Crash?’
As many fans know by now, Cameron has kidnapped Faith Newman and of course, Sharon Newman is doing everything she can to get her daughter back, despite knowing just how dangerous Cameron is. Not only that, but it also seems like there are some key elements missing from this storyline. A member of the Newman family has gone missing yet it seems like every Newman actually even cares. What’s going on here?
Of course, many of The Young and the Restless fans and critics alike have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “This story is a car crash. No beats are being played. No building tension. Everything rushed. Niki is in the peripheral, Faith’s sisters and extended family aren’t being used,” along with, “I think the rushed pace is the issue and not the predictability. I mean, back in the day we could also usually guess the good guys would win in the end. But there was enough buildup and dramatic tension to keep viewers invested. Now they just don’t want the fraud to get upset and angry on social media, so they keep soaps as neutered as possible.”
The Young And The Restless Updates – What’s Next In Genoa City?
Another fan wrote, “As questionable as this story is, it’s just sooooo good to have Nick and Sharon back together in an emotionally charged story. Nick is angry and Sharon is afraid and the two of them together comforting one another is everything.”
With that said, The Young and the Restless fans will certainly have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next. Watch this space.
