90 Day Fiancé: Armando Shares Heartbreaking Update On Hannah

On Wednesday, we reported that 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Armando Niedermeier-Rubio sent out an urgent request for help obtaining a medical visa for his daughter, Hannah. Plenty of TLC fans turned up on social media to try and assist him. A new update revealed that Hannah ended up airlifted from Mexico, but he can’t get to be with her yet.

An Update On Hannah

Per Instagram, Armando Niedermeier-Rubio remains in Mexico while his daughter Hannah lies in a hospital bed in Phoenix, Arizona, with a brain bleed. 

In an update, he explained that Hannah called him crying because she wasn’t feeling well. When he saw her, it was immediately clear something was wrong.

Armando said that one side of her face seemed to droop and she had obvious weakness on one side of her body.

Airlifted To Phoenix

He rushed Hannah to a clinic in Mexico, but medical staff could not provide the specialized treatment she needed, and the frightening neurological symptoms continued.

90 Day Fiancé fans know that Kenny Niedermeier and Armando live in a small town, so they finally made a tough choice to get Hannah to the USA.

In Arizona, doctors found blood in her brain after she was airlifted to Phoenix. The most difficult part of the ordeal was that Armando Niedermeier-Rubio could not cross the border to be with her.  His regular marriage visa is still in progress.

Stuck In Mexico

According to an article by Starcasm, a border supervisor told him “that type of request was not being granted at the port of entry.” He was turned away.

His husband, Kenny Niedermeier, managed to reach Hannah’s bedside. Per TMZ, Kenny thinks “the bleed doesn’t seem active.” That is a hopeful sign that things are not getting worse. Still, doctors don’t know what caused the bleeding.

They are running endless scans. If the current tests don’t give answers, Armando Niedermeier-Rubio shared that doctors might have to try “a more invasive procedure.”

In an update on GoFundMe, family friend Toni wrote, “Unfortunately, the scans did not provide any answers, so the doctors needed to go in and perform an angioplasty to uncover more results.”

The 90 Day Fiancé family is rallying behind the couple during this nightmare. A flood of supportive messages came in from fellow franchise stars after the news broke:

David Toborowsky sent immediate support, writing, “Sending you all prayers and our love.”

Darcey Silva offered positive thoughts, commenting, “Sending prayers and sending love and healing energy!”

Kimberly Menzies shared her pain for the family, posting, “Oh Armando. 😢 this hurts my heart so much. I’m praying for all of you. I’m here if you need me as always. Love you ❤️”

The Fundraiser

The GoFundMe shows just how much TLC fans love Kenny, Armando, and young Hannah. So far, supporters have donated $135,342 to help with the family’s mounting medical bills.

For now, Armando can only sit in Mexico, waiting by the phone, wishing he could hold his daughter.
