This time last year Kelly’s fans were campaigning hard to keep her on the show. As many of our readers can recall, the actress, who was best known for her role as Sam McCall on the hit ABC soap, was fired for reasons that are still unclear, despite being on the show for more than two decades.

Well, it didn’t take very long for Kelly’s loyal fans to protest the decision. A lot of them threatened to boycott the show by tuning out each day and even signed petitions in the hopes that the producers would change their mind and give Kelly a second chance.

Clearly, none of that happened. It’s been almost one year since Sam McCall died on the canvas and she’s barely mentioned anymore. It’s almost as if this legacy character didn’t really mean much to anyone in this fictional town of Port Charles.

In other words, she’s gone and totally forgotten as well.

This has prompted a lot of people to wonder whatever happened to the campaign that was supposed to bring Kelly back on daytime television. Because by now one would think that another high-profiled soap would have given her an offer, but that hasn’t happened either.

Is It Completely Over For Kelly Monaco?

It’s safe to say that Kelly Monaco’s daytime television career might totally be over, if not her acting career as well.

While no one really knows what happened behind closed doors between her and the producers of General Hospital, it seems like both sides have permanently given up on any sort of reconciliation.

So far Kelly Monaco herself has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. We will definitely update you with all of the latest details as they come in.
