Arriving prematurely at 35 weeks and 2 days, she weighed a mere 5 pounds and 3 ounces, necessitating a stay in the NICU due to her low blood sugar levels.
Her mother, Johnetta, has previously recounted the deeply emotional experience on social media, sharing how she and Hashim remained by their daughter’s side, providing constant skin-to-skin contact.
