General Hospital Alum Michael Easton (Hamilton Finn) Gives Fans An Interesting Life Update

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest it’s been a hot minute since fans have seen Michael Easton in Port Charles.

The actor departed from the ABC soap in the summer of 2024 after his character, Dr. Hamilton Finn, left the canvas for rehab, and then exited the little town for good in October that year. With that said, the actor recently hopped on social media to offer fans an update on his life.

Easton posted some headshots and other pics of himself from a photo shoot, on Instagram. His caption read, “Back from sabbatical and stopped by the studio of my buddy Jackson Davis.”

Easton went on to say, “This guy is so talented he even got me to smile.” Of course, his old GH colleagues flooded the comment section, both current cast and alumni.

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Rebecca Budig (currently playing Dr. Taylor Hayes, GH’s ex-Hayden Barnes) commented, “Beautiful smile. Beautiful photos,” while Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) noted, “You look [fire emoji].” Meanwhile, GH alum Marc Anthony Samuel (ex-Felix Dubois) wrote, “Hey friend,” as a newcomer to Beyond the Gates, and GH alum Greg Vaughan (ex-Lucky Spencer) commented with, “Even the best deserve some much-needed RnR!”

In addition, GH alum Evan Hofer (ex-Dex Heller) jumped into the comments with, “the coolest,” and Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) wrote, “hi!” Lastly, Easton’s old onscreen brother,  Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase), stated, “Looking fresh as ever!”

Michael Easton’s Soapy Resume

Easton played Finn on GH from March 2016 to June 2024, but that wasn’t the only role he portrayed on the ABC soap.

From March 2012 to March 2013, he reprised his One Life to Live’s John McBain, a character he played on OLTL from 2003 until the show ended in 2012. In addition, Easton played Caleb Morley (Stephen Clay) in 2013, a role he reprised from his days on GH’s sister soap, Port Charles, from 2001 to 2003.

In the early ‘90s, Easton was also on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), as Tanner Scofield.
