The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam And Sally Can’t Win – Victor Stands Undefeated

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) isn’t on board with retaking what is now part of Spectra Charles.

He and the revived love of his life, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) aren’t interested in being part of a scheme to reclaim Newman Media.

But Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) knows that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) stole Newman Enterprises and with it, the media arm that Adam and later, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) headed. So, being wronged, he intends to right what happened.

The problem Adam and Chelsea have with going after Newman Media is the personal aspect.

Devoted fans recall that they cheated in the recent past and that Sally and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who Chelsea was involved with, had their hearts broken.

Sally Spectra And Billy Abbott Moved On Together

In a bit of soapy magic but also something that was plausible, Sally and Billy’s commiseration in the aftermath of the revealed cheating scandal led them to become a couple

. Digitally skipping to today, they are engaged and expecting a child.

Along with the guilt of having broken up with Sally and Billy, Adam and Chelsea do not want to apply stress to Sally because of her pregnancy.

Adam also tried to have a few heartfelt conversations with Billy, where he wanted to reach a form of truce. Billy wasn’t having it.

So, all of the above made Adam and Chelsea’s conversation with Sally and Audra understandable.

They told the co-heads of Spectra Charles that they were going to Victor and intended to persuaded him to not go after that company. Victor grudgingly listened to the pitch and rejected it.

What Becomes Of Spectra Charles?

Some viewers may wonder why Spectra Charles isn’t named Spectra Cortez since Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) real last name isn’t Charles. She invented that as part of the accidental death cover up that she and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).

While Victor’s aim is to get the Newman Media portion of Spectra Charles back, he’s sure to have created a plan that will decimate the entire company.

It’s fair to wonder if his minions unearthed Audra’s dirty little secret that she and Holden buried in the Arizona desert.

Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is also a wild card factor because the fateful event, where Holden accidentally killed the man who was after Audra, happened in his bar, The Shadow Room.

Victor prodding his restored memory for whatever information he might have about that matter or using him to spook Audra with prodding questions about whatever intel is available would be a very Moustache move.

Adam Newman Risks Alienation Again

Adam has been in a good place for more than a year. He’s regained his father’s trust and is as accepted as he can be by his siblings and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

There’s no question that re-coupling with Chelsea changed Adam’s tune. He wants to focus on her and their son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

So, going against Victor isn’t Adam’s choice. Hopefully, he can find a way to soothe his father’s feelings when Victor lashes out about a perceived betrayal regarding the coming Newman Media reclamation project.
