The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nikki and Victor Reunite While Sharon Grows Concerned About Nick

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) didn’t regain her sight.

Removing what resembled two egg white bandages from her eyes proved to be just another step in this soapy journey.

One element of the storyline allows Y&R’s eternal love birds to have plenty of alone time at the rebuilt Ranch main house. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been seen teary-eyed on multiple occasions.

So, as fans knew, this pairing will never stop loving each other no matter their disagreements, separations, or whatever else might come down the daytime road in Genoa City, Wisconsin. The real question is how long it will take Nikki to be able to see Victor and everything else?

Nikki Newman’s Blindness Can’t Last

How many adventures could Y&R’s longtime leading lady have while being blind?

Well, devoted fans know that Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) had many. One of them was the infamous attack she endured, which led to Victor’s intervention and their bond.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the living product of their union.

But newer fans haven’t seen Victor with a blinded love. So, that element is new for them. As for longtime viewers, the difference is that Victor was just getting to know Hope, whereas he and Nikki are finding their way back to each other.

The subtext of having Nikki rediscover the visible world and her finding a way back to forgive Victor’s current faults is plot-worthy.

Victor Newman Has Other Issues To Contend With

Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) has become more of a problem than Victor thought he might be. Howarth’s character recently told him that he wants to end their arrangement and leave GC for good.

Victor wants him to stay and will arrange for a long jail stay or worse, with some miserable existence or even death resulting if he bolts. Ideally, Victor will instruct his family to lay off Matt while he’s trying to pry useful information from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

Along with that, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) continues in the early phases of his overdose recovery. Plus, Adam is working behind Victor’s back on a Newman Media deal with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that will be abhorred.

Sharon Newman Knows Nick Newman Well

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) was aside Nick when he was imploring Matt to get lost.

But Matt’s subsequent meeting with Victor at the Ranch indicates that Nick’s instincts will be validated.

Nick believes that Matt isn’t leaving town. One reason involves Victor controlling his destiny. The other is tied to Nick’s suspicion that Matt is lying about his supposed quest for redemption.

Sharon needs to keep a close eye on Nick, who still seems prone to exact permanent payback against Matt.

She can’t allow Nick to fall over the emotional edge and do something to Matt that would lead to a terrible legal consequence.
