General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Wright Spills How Carly Will Save Michael From Prison

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that it looks like Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will be arrested for shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Not only did he have motive, he had means.

This is because the shooter used a gun that once belonged to Quartermaine patriarch Edward Quartermaine. Then there’s the fact that Drew is doing everything he can to frame Michael whether he was the shooter or not!
Will Michael Stand Trial?

Interestingly enough, others, including Michael’s mom, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), suspect Michael. Wright talked to Soap Opera Digest about this scintillating plot: “You don’t want to see your child kill somebody or try to, or to be so angry that he’s going to hurt someone in a way that could put him in prison forever. She doesn’t want him to go to jail.”

She added that Carly would “do everything she can to stop” Michael from being charged.

Can Carly Save Michael?

Carly is a loose cannon on her best days, so her trying to interfere in the pursuit of justice sounds like a juicy, soapy plot point! Wright added that her character “will do whatever she has to do to protect her kids. Whatever it takes.”

Carly suspects that Michael is guilty of shooting Drew. If the PCPD came after him, how far would Carly go to intervene?

What Happens Next in Port Charles, New York?

We predict that Carly would falsely admit to shooting Drew to protect Michael. She would gladly go to jail for her kids but she could be making a big mistake.

What if Michael is innocent? He could even tell Carly that, and she might not believe him. In that case she would offer herself up to save her son.

Or maybe not—what if she pointed the finger at someone else? Like Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)?

That could complicate things since Michael reached out to Willow in the Thursday, October 9 episode. Michael wants her to see her kids sooner than the new judge’s ruling in their paternity case. As such he is showing that he cares about her and if his mom sends the mother of his kids to prison how would he react?
