Collin Gosselin Confirms A Book’s In The Works
Collin Gosselin mentioned that a book might be on the way, and this weekend he confirmed that it’s really happening. The Jon and Kate Plus 8 alum seems excited and his fans have already started cheering him on. Read on for more details.

The son of Kate and Jon Gosselin first mentioned a book during a TikTok livestream in early August. At the time, he mostly spoke about how he intended to do more posting on the platform. However, one fan caught the part where he spoke about a book.
Excited, the fan told the young man, who accused his mom of horrifying abuse, including being allegedly zip-tied in a basement, how excited they felt. They wrote, “I hope you’re doing well! Watched your live. Can’t wait to support your book! You deserve all the success and love.”
Now, the news is not only confirmed, but it seems to be well into the planning stages.
The Book Starts Rolling
Writing a book isn’t as easy as it might sound. To be a success, it takes a lot of planning and possibly the help of a ghostwriter. There are publishers, contracts, and marketing strategies to plan. On Instagram this weekend, Collin indicated that the ball is rolling.
In his post, Collin Gosselin told his followers:
I’ve been given the opportunity to write my very first book!…Today was a very important part of that process! This morning I had a wonderful phone call with some pretty great friends of mine, who are a part of this journey. A lot of things were finalized, and drafting will start next week! and updates coming soon! I can’t wait to share this with you all!
Still Keeping Things Fairly Quiet
Despite Collin starting a TikTok, he seems a bit reserved and he isn’t posting all that much on his Instagram. However, he is posting to his stories, so it’s a bit hard for fans to comment on the news. Unfortunately, his TikTok that recently had over 5K followers seems to be down right now.
Redditors have not yet started discussing the story about the book confirmation, but in September last year, he talked about making his voice heard because the “system failed” him.
At the time, many people encouraged the young man who wanted to be a Marine. That failed because allegedly, his mom reported that he had mental health issues. Remember she sent him to a special facility and his dad, Jon, spent a lot of money getting him out again.
