The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sally’s Insecurity Showing – Daniel Searching For Himself
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) partially acknowledged the truth. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) got her to say that she’s concerned about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) being vulnerable to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Billy and Phyllis have history, though it’s not current. However, the more significant issue is Thompson’s character continuing to support Phyllis’ cause, which Sally finds disturbing.
Meanwhile, Phyllis’ son continues to struggle. He’ll never get past the murder of the woman he loved, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). But he’s trying to reach stability, and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) might be the person to help.
Phyllis Summers Is Loud And Aggressive
Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) knows what happens when Phyllis takes the stage. The notorious pursuit of Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) was one of the great storylines of the 1990s because Phyllis engineered the break of one of Y&R’s most famous couples, Danny and Cricket, or the bug as she was derisively labeled.
Stafford’s character is all about herself, disregarding whatever any other person wants or needs. However, Phyllis is sincere about helping her children, which is the one condition she asked Billy to honor when hiring her at Abbott Communications.
Credit can also be cautiously given to Phyllis for forging what seems to be a potentially lasting truce or even friendship with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), her other longtime nemesis—Sally slots as nemesis number three.
Sally Spectra Needs To Fight
Sally isn’t dismissing Phyllis, but she isn’t being proactive either. Hope’s character is waiting it out, hoping that Billy cuts himself off from her sooner rather than later.
It’s become possible that Billy will go forward without Phyllis as his preferred second in command. But Phyllis doesn’t want to let this job opportunity go because she is desperate to distract herself following the kidnapping.
Billy offered Sally a chance to take control by offering her the position Phyllis accepted. But Marchetti has proven to be a boon, with Sally serving as Marchetti Z’s creative director and lead designer.
Fashion is in Sally’s blood. So, leaving that plum job to work for Billy would be a tough choice. Yet, it might be something Sally needs to do if her insecurities persist.
Daniel Romalotti Also Copes Through Distraction
Daniel is a poor soul. The latest love of his life was a wonderful woman. Heather gave her heart to him and became a mother to his daughter, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).
Heather’s needless, brutal death will forever impact Daniel, Lucy, and all who loved her. Ian Ward’s (Ray Wise) crime should have resulted in his lifetime incarceration, but he’s alive and probably well, as only the audience knows.
Phyllis insists that Daniel will fulfill his promise and work for Billy, but the head of Abbott Communications believes otherwise. Daniel is choosing to learn how to play the guitar that his dad, Danny, gave him years ago, and Tessa is his teacher.
Phyllis will be forced to choose if or when Daniel reaffirms his decision not to work for Billy. Sally will also have a choice to make at that point in the plot.
