The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Michael Walks A Hard Road – Diane Tries To Escape Frame

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) believes in his client’s innocence.

But Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) committed a number of acts that make her look guilty.

She is accused of framing Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), who attempted to murder Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). The fans are the only witnesses besides Jack.

But he remains unconscious after losing buckets of blood that gushed from his gut after Patty sunk a large kitchen knife into her supposed one and only love’s stomach.

Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) is friends with Diane. But the role she accepted, which represents her second stint as Genoa City, Wisconsin’s, District Attorney means that personal feelings aren’t overridden by evidence or the lack thereof.

Michael Baldwin Needs More Information

The audience was introduced to Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) when Diane was. She awakened at his home, which was actually a secured compound.

He claimed to have found her on the side of the road. But viewers have since learned that he has some type of weird connection to Patty, who apparently was his patient at the mental health facility.

Michael needs to dig into the connection between Patty and Laurence because when revealed, Jack’s testimony wouldn’t be as vital.

As Diane shared with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), it’s possible that Jack doesn’t make it. Then what?

Longtime fans of this genre fully expect Bergman to remain part of the cast indefinitely.

So, their concerns don’t center on Jack perishing but rather how long until he regains consciousness and when that happens will he be able to relay to the authorities what happened.

Diane Jenkins Abbott Grateful To Be Out

Diane thankfully was allowed to leave the police station. Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) found Patty’s initial response about Diane to be very suspicious.

Patty asked if Diane was locked up and didn’t ask how Jack was doing. James witnessed the opposite reaction from Diane when she first saw him.

Christine allowed Michael’s bail request to proceed because she’s trying to be fair. GC’s DA also finds it hard to believe that Diane and not Patty committed this crime but realizes that current evidence doesn’t support Walters’ character.

Patty Williams Tries To Finish The Job

Patty wasn’t able to kill Jack, as she hoped. Fans of daytime weren’t shocked that someone with Patty’s background managed to obtain nurses scrubs, a syringe, and a substance that was intended as deadly.

It’s reasonable to believe that Laurence wants Patty to rub Jack out. If that doesn’t happen, both characters are certain to be in legal trouble based on what Jack can confirm about Patty’s murder attempt.

Of course, Patty wouldn’t have any reason to protect Laurence. But it’s fair to wonder if he can be turned if the bad doctor believes he can save himself by revealing Patty’s plan.
