Annie Suwan Suffers C-Section Pain, Bare Minimum Meds
Annie Suwan from 90 Day Fiance experiences lots of post-partum pain following her recent C-section. David Toborowsky shared a reel on social media on March 12, that revealed Annie’s struggle with pain management. And, you might not believe what she’s been given to cope with it.
The Pain From The C-Section
At breakfast time when David walked into the room, the TLC star lay in bed and she didn’t look happy until he saw him. Then, Annie Suwan’s face lit up. But, she also told David in his video that she felt a lot of pain. Annie pointed to her tummy and told him about her discomfort, as the “numbness” from her initial pain blocker had worn off.

Incredibly, Annie Suwan said that she was only being given “Tylenol” for pain relief. Americans are used to plenty of pain meds, so some TLC fans felt shocked. In fact, you might recall how Tori Roloff’s pain was so bad from her c-section with Josiah that she nearly made a 911 call.
Fans Respond To The Limited Pain Management
One fan commented, “Oh man. They need some better meds than Tylenol there. I hope you heal soon,” adding, “The baby is absolutely precious.” David responded, explaining that in Thailand, where she had her baby, heavier pain medication isn’t given to patients.
Other TLC fans echoed the sentiment, with responses like, “[I] had one too and Tylenol isnt strong. Prayers for your pain Annie. Have the best day Annie, David and Minthira.”
Another 90 Day Fiance fan offered encouragement, saying, “Annie [is] now not only beautiful but a beautiful mama. [The] pain will subside soon (experienced c-section mom here.) Lots of rest and ginger tea dad needs to rest too.”
Here are a few more comments on the pain management post:
- Oh you are “killin it” pushing through with just Tylenol. I had four kids myself, but thankfully only my last was a c-section. Here they have me more than Tylenol. I was a wimp. Way to be strong,
- Tylenol only girl get those pain meds. You just had MAJOR surgery. Also big tip – if you have to cough or sneeze or laugh, squeeze a pillow (sic) over your tummy while doing it to reduce the pain.
The Baby Arrived Safely
The news followed the arrival of Annie and David Toborowsky’s baby, Minthirarad. Earlier, David shared Annie’s hope for a natural birth, with much discussion about the best course of action. Initially, the decision was still up in the air, as doctors were still undecided.

However, David later provided a quick update via Instagram, confirming that Annie would have a C-section. The birth of their baby was met with plenty of congratulations and well-wishes from their huge fanbase. And, photos of the newborn quickly circulated, captivating hearts all over the world.
The focus has now shifted to Annie’s recovery, with fans hoping her pain reduces soon. Of course, Annie being Annie, she tried to push aside the pain and rather focus on her long-awaited infant.
