General Hospital Spoilers: The Compelling Reasons Dillon Quartermaine Must Come Back
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease there are compelling reasons why Dillon Quartermaine (most recently Robert Palmer Watkins) must come back to the show. Let’s see why Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) needs her youngest son back in Port Charles!
General Hospital Spoilers: A Ruthless Filmmaker?
Dillon Quartermaine might make a dramatic comeback as a powerful filmmaker and director, teaming up with Tracy to take charge; he’d certainly be of use at Deception Cosmetics.
It’s essential for General Hospital to see one crucial character return to Port Charles—and that would be Dillon, it’s plain to see Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) isn’t enough.
With several actors stepping into his shoes over the years, Dillon has long been the unconventional member of his family.
He ventured away to pursue a career in filmmaking in California, but in today’s world, films can be created on the streets of Port Charles. Having led a tumultuous life filled with ups and downs, Dillon could inject a blend of nostalgia and excitement into the unfolding drama at GH.
GH Spoilers: Dillon And Lulu Could Reunite, He Could Help Get Charlotte Cassadine Back
Dillon’s journey began as an infant on General Hospital and later as a young boy on The City, but he is most fondly remembered for Scott Clifton’s portrayal, which ended in 2007. From 2015 to 2017, Robert Palmer Watkins took on the character, subsequently appearing in various films and television series.
With Lulu Spencer ( Alexa Havins) making her return and Dillon’s mother poised to become the matriarch of the Quartermaine clan, the stage is set for Dillon’s comeback. There was a spark between Dillon and Lulu, and with her life after a four-year coma and searching for her daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), reintroducing Dillon could add an intriguing dynamic.
He also helped Lulu exonerate her mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), when she faced accusations of murdering Rick Webber (Chris Robinson), and he’d be all in on helping find Charlotte.
General Hospital Spoilers: Port Charles Needs Another Ruthless Quartermaine
Tracy is tightening her grip on the family, evident in her decision to protect Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).
She kept them away from their mother, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen); this move came as Willow appeared to be controlled by the erratic and manipulative Drew (Cameron Mathison). It’s likely that Tracy could call Dillon home to bolster her ranks and stand by her side amid the turmoil.
Moreover, with Ned not quite following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle), perhaps Dillon could step in alongside the Port Charles youth who are mirroring their parents.
Having navigated the cutthroat film industry, Dillon may have sharpened his instincts, positioning him to embrace the role of a true Quartermaine heir.

[…] Katelyn MacMullen expressed that Chad Duell’s exit from the show still feels surreal to her. This sentiment might stem from the fact that GH has not cast a new actor for Michael, and Duell has shown interest in possibly returning. “I think it’s more of a temporary situation,” MacMullen shared- “I’m not allowing myself to think that I’ll never see him around here again. I’m holding onto the hope that we will cross paths once more.” […]
A Dillon return could bring much good story if the story is told as I have envisioned. I have always felt Dillon was Wiley’s bio father and Nelle lied to get Michael in her orbit – viewers knew she would do anything to get what she wanted. Just my opinion, and wouldn’t be surprised if the story went that way at some point in time. There has been speculation regarding a Nelle return to canvas and a Dillon mention now – why when he hasn’t been discussed almost forever. Just my thoughts.
