‘Mama June’ Pumpkin Efird Reacts To Josh’s Accident

Mama June fans slammed Pumpkin Efird after a video about Josh Efird being in a bad vehicle accident emerged on YouTube. An informant claimed that the mother of Ella Grace, Bentley, and the twins had been uncaring and cold about her ex-husband’s injuries. Since then, she refuted that and gave her side of the story on a Livestream. 

Pumpkin Efird Didn’t Care About Josh?

It was Elle Bee who posted the video that showed Josh Efird had totaled his blue truck. Apparently, it wasn’t his fault, and someone who was speeding plowed into him, causing the truck to flip. In the footage, fans could see Josh looking shaken as police attended the scene. 

As Pumpkin Efird was the contact person on Josh’s phone, the police informed her that her husband was suffering from a sore shoulder, but other injuries were as yet unknown. That’s when her story differed. Obviously, an informant was around to hear several conversations. Allegedly, the Mama June star wasn’t interested in Josh’s problem and didn’t go to the hospital. Additionally, she allegedly said to a friend that he was probably just “looking for a check.”

Josh Efird Was Not Ignored By Pumpkin?

On Reddit, Mama June fan u/Not12Fwith shared the Livestream where Pumpkin claimed she had not ignored her ex-husband. In the caption, they wrote:

Pumpkin tells her truth regarding Josh’s accident.
Last night during her Sisters Closet Halloween Bingo event, Pumpkin addressed her side of what happened when she was notified of the accident. She claims the stories that have come out so far are false. Re-posted to add: she also addresses the rumor mill constantly surrounding her.

Speaking about her allegedly saying Josh just wanted a check, Pumpkin Efird said, “I never even done that. Josh called me…and I went down…he was laid out on the ground and his truck was overturned. They loaded him up in an ambulance. I called his mom, and she met him there…” She also mentioned that he is the dad of her kids. 

Mama June Fans React

WEtv fans didn’t slam the Mama June star this time. In fact, a lot of them believed her version of the story. Here are some of their reactions:

• I don’t say this often…. I believe a lot of what she is saying.
• I agree, it does sound like something she would say. But I feel like it was taken out of context somehow or twisted, in order to make Pumpkin look worse. Not necessarily by Elle but maybe the source that told her… LI think there’s some truth to both stories.
• Kudos to her. I’m glad she addressed this and said that she checked on him because he is still the father of their kids, which is what really matters.
