Kailtyn’s Official Custody Ruled In Favor Of Mama June

Mama June: Family Crisis fans were horrified when they heard that Mama June Shannon separated Anna Cardwell’s two children, Kylee and Kaitlyn. It came after Anna, who passed away from cancer, had not made any provision for her daughter’s future. Now that the official determination by the judge is out, WEtv fans feel terribly sad for the young teen.

WEtv fans had already heard via the social media grapevine that Kaitlyn wouldn’t go and live with Michael Cardwell, Anna’s ex.  However, the courts recently revealed the final outcome, and that cemented the news for those who had hoped so badly for Kaitlyn to live with her half-sister.

Mama June: Family Crisis fans have little confidence in June Shannon’s ability to parent any child. After all, she abandoned Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson when she was close to Kaitlyn’s age. After she and Geno Doak dropped massive bundles of cash on drugs and a stint in rehab, the WEtv show revealed that she also misappropriated Alana’s money.  

Fans Feel So Sad About Official Custody Result 

Mama June: Family Crisis fans found out about June Shannon being awarded custody over Michael via InTouch Weekly. Citing court documents, the outlet wrote, “legal and physical custody of the minor child is to remain with [Mama June] and [Michael] will have no right to visitation as such, unless otherwise agreed to by the parties and the minor child.”

When u/migirlinaz shared the news on a Mama June subreddit, WEtv fans felt sad and confused about why Anna Cardwell had not made provision for Kaitlyn’s custody before her death. When she married Eldridge Toney, she told Kylee and Kaitlyn that he would be their dad. But unfortunately, she never put anything in writing.
