Teen Mom 2 alum, Jenelle Evans is fighting David Eason for custody and other toxic issues as they remain separated pending a divorce. The MTV star had a major win and was awarded temporary sole custody. Her ex apparently didn’t show up in court.

For a long time, fans were angry because Jace ran away from home and the news arrived that allegedly, David Eason had assaulted him. Finally, the MTV stars moved apart and a war over possessions and custody started. David moved onto the old broken boat in Wilmington, and his ex went on with her life to film for Teen Mom The Next Chapter.
Jenelle Evans couldn’t allow her daughter, Ensley to film for MTV because David Eason would not allow it. However, Jace and Kaiser were part of the show. Meanwhile, David moved on and started dating someone named Kenleigh Heatwole. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported that on the day of the custody case, Ensley Eason’s dad was filming on TikTopk live with Kenleigh. So, he didn’t seem all that interested in fighting for his daughter.

Teen Mom fans heard that David Eason doesn’t have an attorney, and he didn’t arrive in court. So, it seems that Jenelle’s lawyers didn’t have too much opposition. However, the awarded custody of Ensely Eason to her mom is temporary. Notably, the dispute between the former MTV couple will continue in court in October.

Jenelle Evans claimed that David Eason had not shown that he was “fit and proper to have custody of the child.” Plus, he hadn’t contacted his daughter for months. Meanwhile, she was found to be able to make decisions for her daughter. The outlet cited the judge as saying:
The best interest of Ensley would be served for sole physical and legal custody to be awarded to Ms. Eason today, with there to be supervised visitation [held off] unless and until a psychological evaluation [for David] has been completed.

Even if David gets to see his daughter, the judge also agrees that the broken-down boat that he lives on isn’t a safe place for his daughter. So, going forward she will live with her mom who is already paying all the costs and making education decisions for Ensley. Furthermore, as David Eason was not in court, the results of the hearing were set to be delivered to Jenelle Evan’s ex via “email.”
