Cameron Mathison Scores New Gig

It’s becoming clearer that Cameron Mathison is walking away from the soap genre. The Game Show Network announced one of the three new shows hosted by the General Hospital star.

The game shows are set to premiere later this year. On Tuesday, April 2, the shows were announced by GSN during the Sony Pictures Television Advertiser Sales upfront.

One of the new shows is Beat the Bridge, based on BBC’s Bridge of Lies. The show will premiere in June and will be hosted by Cameron Mathison.

The goal of the game the show is to successfully cross a bridge by asking challenging questions. The team can only keep the money if they can “beat the bridge” before time runs out.

This could suggest that Cameron is leaving General. He joined General Hospital in 2021 after the Hallmark Channel canceled his daytime talk show Home & Family.
