General Hospital spoilers tease that the Pikeman Group has been wreaking havoc in Port Charles for over a year.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) thought she stopped Pikeman once it’s leader, Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) was arrested and put behind bars.
This was especially good news for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) who had been the subject of several assassination attempts that Pikeman had seemingly ordered. But unknown to anyone but Brennan, someone new has taken over and it’s someone very familiar.
General Hospital Spoilers – Who’s afraid of Valentin Cassadine?
Years ago, before Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) ever set foot in Port Charles, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) feared even the mention of his name.
But although Valentin is certainly not an angel, he never really seemed like someone Helena would fear. He also seemed to soften because of his love for his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
He was also devoted to Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) who almost married Valentin but broke off things with him at the last moment.

Valentin recently met with Brennan and it quickly became clear that he has taken over Pikeman in Brennan’s place. He’s been working behind the scenes all along.
That mean his softer demeanor might have been part of his act, as least partially. And now that he’s in charge, he seems to be even more diabolical that Brennan.
He’s concocted a plan to alter Sonny’s medication for his bi-polar condition. That means as time goes by, Sonny will become more and more erratic and could likely either get himself killed or arrested.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Corinthos may soon realize the truth!
Besides Charlotte and maybe Anna, no one knows Valentin better than Nina. There’s every possibility she will find out Valentin is up to something, perhaps even learning of his plot against Sonny, with whom she is estranged but still married to.
In order to learn exactly what Valentin is up to, perhaps she will try to romance Valentin as a way of getting more information and helping Sonny any way she can.
But Valentin is smart and even more dangerous than Nina could ever know, It seems likely that Valentin would eliminate Nina in order to continue his plot against Sonny. Could Nina sacrifice her very life in order to save Sonny, the husband who no longer wants her?
