Days of our Lives

Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a familiar will be back to Salem, while the show has recast a major legacy character that was SORAS’d not so long ago.

Days of our Lives spoilers: Stephen Schnetzer Returns

Schnetzer announced his return on Alan Locher’s podcast, The Locher Room. He announced: “Breaking news. As far as I know, next week I’m flying out to LA. I hope I’m not giving anything up, but they’ve asked Steve Olson to come back for a couple of episodes. I’ll say no more than that.”

Steve is Julie Olson’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Hayes was married to her DOOL co-star Bill Hayes who played her onscreen Doug Williams.

Hayes passed away in January and the show will no doubt address the star’s passing with a tribute episode. It’s likely that Steve, the son of the late Addie Horton Olson (Patricia Barry) will return for Doug’s memorial.

Come back often, we will update you with details about Schnetzer’s return as soon as we hear more.

Meanwhile, the show has recast Tate Black who is currently portrayed by Jamie Martin Mann. Mann is leaving the show to attend college on a full-time basis.

Tate is in a halfway house after being accused of a crime he didn’t commit. Leo Howard is now in the role and he will debut on Friday, April 5 when Tate is released from the facility.

This is Howard’s first daytime role. His credits include Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet, and The Vampire Diaries spinoff of a spinoff called Legacies. He was seen in Hulu’s Freakish, as well as Conan the Barbarian.

TV Insider broke the recast news about the son of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien). Howard’s first scenes are with Eric Martsolf.

Days of our Lives spoilers: Tate Recast

Tate is thrilled to be sprung from the facility, and his foremost thoughts are about Holly (Ashley Puzemis). Holly is the reason Tate was sent away, because she would not come forward and exonerate Tate for her drug overdose.

When she finally tells her mom Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and stepdad EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) that the drugs she used were hers, Tate is sprung from confinement.
