There is a freak snowstorm in the middle of April. So, Julie can’t leave just yet, especially in the dark. Johnny and Chanel pretty much entertain Julie on their honeymoon and play Charades.
However, Johnny goes to get more wood for the fire. Chanel decides to go looking for him since it’s taking him a long time. Chanel also wants some alone time with her new husband, even if it is just a few minutes.
However, when Johnny comes back inside and asks about Chanel, Julie makes a horrifying realization. When Johnny goes back out into the fierce snowstorm to look for Chane, he can’t find her. That is when Paulina calls and Julie has to tell her the truth.

Marlena warns everyone that Paulina can’t get near anyone because she’s radioactive. However, that must be why Paulina hijacks a certain piece of heavy machinery!

Carson Boatman, who plays Johnny on DOOL, spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the storyline. The actor teased,
“I don’t know how much I can give away, but she does pull some strings. Paulina hijacks a piece of machinery and uses it to try and find Chanel.”
Now, the actor didn’t specify a certain piece of machinery. However, we could totally see Paulina stealing a steamroller and plowing her way to save Chanel. It would also keep Paulina at a safe distance from other humans since she is radioactive.
