Y&R Spoilers: A Case Of Claire Overload
There has been a case of Claire overload according to The Young and the Restless spoilers. Viewers had enough of Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) daughter.
This was brought up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards. The user Sara_In_BC posted a poll with the question: “Anyone else getting the feeling that this has become the Claire show? Do you think there is not enough focus on other characters?”
At the time of this writing, over 26% of Y&R fans agree they like Claire but it’s become too much. Meanwhile, 23% of fans claim that there’s just the right amount of the character. The other 25% of fans say “Enough of Claire, more of other characters.”
Some of the fans took to the thread to share their thoughts. Most of them have enjoyed the growth of the character, but they agree that it’s become too much.
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that there was a Claire-centric episode on Wednesday, March 20. She had a dream that she grew up as a member of the Newman family.
“I am enjoying the addition of Claire. This is a good actress. If there is an overload, it would be Nikki/Jordan and all that goes with that,” one fan wrote.
“She’s a little psychotic but she’s young and a blonde, what’s not to lover,” another user asked.
“I also voted ‘Like Claire, but it’s too much’ I think she’s a great addition to the show, but it is a bit too much! It is time to dial it back some…” a third user wrote.

This brings up the question of whether Claire is hiding her darkness from the Newmans. The same original poster brought up this question in another thread.
The OP likened Claire to a female version of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). She was accepted with open arms while Adam continued to get cast out of the family.
“I don’t know that Claire is deliberately hiding her personality but I do think she isn’t ‘cured’ yet and needs much more therapy in order to be better,” one fan mused.
“Claire is going to have her own demons she will be wrestling with. It is very understandable considering how she was raised and what she was brainwashed to do…” another user suggested.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Claire isn’t healed yet. She was raised by her crazed aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) who raised her to hate the Newmans. Claire went as far as to help them die. She might still have stumbles on her road to recovery.
