While Daniel admits that he’s not sure about his future with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) anymore, it would be a terrible time to break up with her. After all, Lily is dealing with her daughter’s crisis out of town.
Daniel likely wants to have this talk with Lily in person. Will Heather make a desperate move that incriminates her daughter, though?

Y&R spoilers reveal that actress Christel Khalil took maternity leave. The soap wrote Lily out by having a fire at her daughter’s dorm. Even though there was a lockdown, Lily wanted to be there in case her child needed her. Of course, Lily left Genoa City with Daniel’s support.

Fans watched as Daniel and Heather spent New Year’s Eve with Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Daniel and Heather fell asleep and leaned on each other. Lucy snapped a quick photo before slipping out of the door.
After Daniel and Heather woke up, they shared a kiss.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Daniel confronts Heather about the kiss. Heather asks Daniel if he still sees a future with Lily.
Daniel admits that he isn’t sure anymore. With that confession, Daniel will know it’s not right to text or call Lily to break up with her. After all, Lily’s focus is on her child’s crisis right now. It would be a douchey move for sure.
Heather might want to push and speed things along. However, Heather doesn’t want to be the messenger, either. It’s possible that Heather might look on Lucy’s phone for something, maybe a phone number or maybe she can’t find her own phone.
It’s possible that Heather could find the photo that Lucy took on New Year’s Eve. Heather might even share it to social media or send it to Lily.

However, if Lily sees that photo, she will assume the worst. Even though Daniel didn’t sleep with Heather, the photo could suggest a betrayal happened.
If Lily confronts Daniel about it, he might be confused. Since it came from Lucy’s phone, Heather might have some serious damage control to do. Heather might successfully end Lily’s relationship, but will Daniel ever forgive her?
