As for the “gold digger” comments, Matsuda notes that “Li has this image of Poppy in her head, this idea of who she is.” That’s when the B&B actress revealed that it stems from “jealousy.”
“Li worked hard to become who she is, but her life is not perfect. She couldn’t have a baby, she has a failed marriage,” Naomi Matsuda explained. “She has a successful career that she worked very hard for, but that’s it.”
