Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that fans should always expect the unexpected. For any viewers who tuned into the Cricket-centric episode that took place this past Thursday, November 2nd, the show provided many historical flashbacks of the ups and downs Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) endured during her 40 years in Genoa City.
One major point that was brought up was the fact that the Bug never got to be a mom to children of her own.
With the soap hinting at a romantic reunion between the lawyer and rockstar Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), could there be hope that her dream of being a mother may come true?

Y&R spoilers note that Christine may be out of her childbearing years, but nothing is impossible in the land of soaps. The actress herself is around the age of 54, and her character is in and around that age, too.
It may seem over-the-top for some to believe that a woman in her 50s could have or want to have children, but many do; both in the land of soaps and real life.
Y&R Spoilers: Cricket Really Wanted To Be A Mom
There were some major things the Bug reflected on during her special episode. One was the two loves in her life, Danny and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), and the possible romantic reunion between her and the rock star; her friendship with Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), her rivalry with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), as well as the fact that she’s never had a child of her own.
During her early years with Paul, she wasn’t ready and sadly, back in 2015 she suffered a miscarriage with Williams. Cricket noted during the show that this may have been her last opportunity to have children.
While fans know that Christine mourned the loss of her baby back then, it was never really said how badly she had wanted kids.
During a scene with Nina and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman), the lawyer talked about regretting the fact that she never had the opportunity to be a real mom, herself.
The show has been heavily teasing a romantic reunion between Cricket and Danny (a possible love triangle storyline where Phyllis is in the wings, too); however, if Mr. Romalotti and Ms. Blair do reunite, could she get pregnant and fulfill a dream that Christine has secretly harbored all these years?
