The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 2nd hint that Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) will finally add some insight into why she purchased those Winter-Chancellor shares from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
However, in typical Genoa City style, there will be plenty of drama before she reveals the reason.
Y&R Spoilers: Jill Abbott Crashes The Winters Family Reunion
Y&R spoilers for the week of October 2nd state that the Winters family will gather to welcome Mamie back, as Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) come together to spend time with their great-aunt at GCAC. The get-together will be a nice warm one until Jill Abbott storms in.
Actress Jess Walton spoke to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about the huge face-off. Basically, Jill will storm into the affair, demanding to know why Ms. Johnson bought Victor’s shares; Mamie will respond saying it was a good investment that also gives her the chance to see family.
This will outrage Jill, and Walton states she’ll outright tell Mamie that that is a “crock”, basically accusing Mamie of lying.
Y&R Spoilers: It’s All About Bringing The Cousins Together
Walton tells SOD that Jill’s outburst will spoil the family reunion; however, Ms. Abbott will not be remorseful at all since she’ll feel she’s doing right by the company.
Still, Mamie will be offended by Jill’s comments, but Devon will come to Ms. Abbott’s defense. He’ll note that Mamie didn’t have to invest millions to spend time with her family.
This will cause Nate to react and come to his great-aunt’s defense, which ultimately causes yet another argument between Hastings and Hamilton-Winters.
The fight prompts Mamie to explain that this is why she bought the shares and returned to GC, to help heal her family. Walton will shrug that off and ask her how much she wants for the shares.
