The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) continues to make a play for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), believing that she will eventually cave.
Ashley likes playing coy. She is not interested in any other man. Her ex-husband, the most recent man she was married to approximately ten years ago in real-time, intrigues her. She also cares about him. That is why she purchased every last drop of McCall Unlimited’s outstanding, red-inked debt.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers’ News Was Upsetting
Davidson and Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) delivered outstanding scenes, as Ashley and Jack verbally attacked each other in the Abbott mansion’s fabled family living room. Memories of many warm moments did not prevent Ashley from tearing into her brother.
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) threatened to kill Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) the same night she is believed to have died. Ashley implored her brother to wake up because she is certain his connection to Walters’ character puts his life in danger.
Jack tried to assure his sister that her concerns were misguided. But he later fought through tears when telling her she was wrong about Diane’s role in Phyllis’ death, which viewers know is purely a hoax.
The Young And The Restless Updates – Ashley Abbott Not Cutting Him Loose
Ashley could have blown Tucker off after she returned from Paris, France. But she did not do that.
Tucker could have been told to go on many occasions. But Ashley continues to allow him to court her. Yes, that old-school term still works.
Buying Tucker’s debt load was the strongest sign that Ashley’s love is alive and well. She did that to help Tucker reconcile with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). That is his other goal, along with reconciling with her.
Tucker McCall Refuses To Give Up
Tucker loves Ashley and Devon. While St. John’s character has a checkered past, he has embraced Ashley’s guidance and, most importantly, her idea to sell McCall Unlimited to his son.
Devoted viewers know that Ashley is affected by Tucker and is giving him plenty of time and opportunity to prove himself a better man than he was.
Hopefully, Devon gives his biological father a real chance as well. Devon recently settled his differences with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and wants to remain in partnership at Chancellor-Winters. Whether that helps or prevents an agreement with Tucker will soon be seen on Y&R.
