Tucker returned to GC, intending to reconcile with Ashley and reconnect with Devon. James’ character was sporadically in touch with his biological father in recent years, and they were not holding grudges with each other.
However, Tucker planted a mole, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), inside Chancellor-Winters. That dishonest maneuver was eventually discovered and caused Devon to feel betrayed.
Ashley’s renewal with Tucker has influenced Abby Newman Abbott’s (Melissa Ordway) perceptions. As a result, Abby encouraged Devon to reconsider Tucker’s intentions.
Ashley Abbott Strives For An Upbeat Ending
Ashley did not remarry after she divorced Tucker. The split happened for many reasons, including Tucker being romantically involved with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) during his marriage to Ashley.
Tucker has done what Ashley asked, admitting he needed help pursuing redemption. St. John’s character should retain a chance to reconcile with Ashley if he is honest with her.
Devon has mixed feelings about buying McCall Unlimited and having Tucker work with him. Ashley is not ready to consider remarriage until she sees Tucker continue to prove himself. And many intervening factors continue to swirl around these three characters in the early spring air as GC celebrates its bicentennial on Y&R.
