The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) has found out that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is pregnant. While Sally is currently dating Summer’s father Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he is not the father of the baby, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the father and she is shocked to find that her father intends on staying with Sally despite the shocking paternity results. While Nick has made it known to Summer that his relationship with Sally is not her business, Summer still doesn’t want her father to be with Sally so she has decided that she will do what she can to help Adam make Sally fall back in love with him. Summer is walking a thin line however, I am not sure that her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will want her meddling in affairs that aren’t her concern.

Y&R Spoilers reveal Summer and Kyle have not been on the best of terms with one another. Summer’s mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) ratted Kyle’s mother Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to infamous criminal Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and brought him back to Genoa City. This not only upset Kyle but also put the Abbott family in danger. This caused Summer to fire Phyllis from Jabot and led to a strain in their relationship. While we are on the subject of Jabot we should also remember the time Kyle went behind Summer’s back and teamed up with her grandfather Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to out her uncle Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) from Jabot so he would be forced to work with Victor again. When Summer found this out it really changed her perspective on him. She didn’t think he was capable of doing something so conniving and it really hurt their relationship. Kyle has tried to prove to her how sorry he is but if she goes behind his back to help a man he can’t stand it may reopen old wounds and destroy what progress they have made.

We know that Adam shattered any second chances with Sally considering how horrible he was to her when he broke her heart. Summer knows that Sally isn’t like most women. She isn’t one to continue to let a man mistreat her and once she is done then she is done.
I am sure that Summer will have Adam reminisce about the good times with Sally and she will tell him to use that in order to win her back. Summer will remind Adam that the way to Sally’s heart is trust and stability, something he hasn’t been capable of doing for Sally. With the Bi-Centenial Ball coming up I am sure she will convince Adam to go over the top to really show Sally in front of everyone why she needs to choose him. I am sure Summer will tell him to remind her that they can offer the stability she has always yearned for and that they should be together because the baby is a sign. I am just wondering what will happen with the two men she loves the most when they find out they betrayed her in the worst way possible.
