General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Carly Defends Her Decision To Lie About Nina And Willow — Drew Is Disgusted
General Hospital (GH) Spoilers suggest Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) isn’t going to back down when Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) chastises her for lying to him once again. As much as it will pain Carly to face the music and see the hurt and betrayal in Drew’s eyes, she will remain convinced that she did the right thing in keeping the truth hidden. Is Carly lying to herself now, or does she actually have a point? Regardless, it will be clear Drew isn’t going to see eye to eye with her on this for some time, and it could spell the end of their relationship before anyone else even knows it exists.
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Cain May Be Shocked By Carly Spencer’s Resolve
Drew is going to be stunned by how committed Carly is to her story. She’s sticking to it, alright! In Carly’s world, she does no wrong, and that’s going to leave a pretty foul taste in Drew’s mouth as he replays his interrogation of her and asks whether she was ever intending to tell Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) the truth about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) being her birth mother. This just may be the straw that breaks the camel’s break and leaves Drew unable to ever look at Carly the same way again.
General Hosptial Updates – Carly Spencer is Sorry Drew Cain Found Out
Carly might be sorry Drew had to find out the truth, but she won’t be sorry she hid it in the first place. She could attest that she was thinking of him and didn’t want to burden Drew with that kind of secret, but they both know better. Drew never would have agreed to keep that kind of secret from Nina and Willow; that’s the real problem and the real reason he will believe Carly didn’t tell him the truth. She only came to him in the first place to unburden herself, but once it looked like she would have to tell the truth, she cut him out of the equation. There might not be any going back from this.
Drew Cain Promises She’ll Be Sorry She Did it
It’s going to hit Drew entirely too close to home that Carly would lie about something this important. He went through the same journey Willow is and he can’t imagine his life without knowing the Quartermaines now.
Knowing that Carly kept the truth to herself for her own selfish reasons while robbing Willow of the opportunity to know her own mother, and robbing Nina of the only daughter she has left at the same time is unspeakable to Drew. As much as he wants to maintain a clear mind when deciding how to proceed, it’s going to be hard to set his own feelings aside. Furthermore, Drew knows Carly is going to be hit with a barrage of emotions over Willow’s cancer diagnosis. Is that punishment enough? Will she come clean and redeem her character in his eyes or is this all too far gone? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
