The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will find even more common ground. Their new friendship, since removing the object of their years-long rivalry has been pleasant, and finding new commonalities can only bring more pleasant surprises.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Mothers, Women, Self-Respect
Once Brooke and Logan both just said no to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and his perpetual waffling between the two of them, which had gone back decades, they felt freedom. For once in their long romantic lives, they had chosen themselves over a man, and they found they had much more in common than just Ridge. They were both mothers who love their children, women, of course, and most importantly women with self-respect.
Not only did that free them, they now also feel empowered to make their own love life choices. They shocked their daughters, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) with their celebration including cake, and once they explained their decision, Steffy and Hope joined in.
The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Even More In Common
Brooke and Taylor will continue to find they have even more in common than they first discovered, of course, counted in the children and family section are they’re both grandmothers. Brooke does have flesh and blood grandchildren, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) has a daughter and a son and there’s Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) Hope’s daughter. Douglas Forrester, (Henry Joseph Samiri) Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay), and Hayes Finnegan (Vienna and Iliana Norris) are Taylor’s flesh and blood grandchildren. They definitely both liked that celebration cake, and they may find they both like other things important to them, they do however have one other husband in common. They were both married for short periods of time to Nick Marone (Jack Wagner).
Some Common Ground Not So Pleasant
The two mother-grandmothers may find some common ground that is not quite so pleasant, and that could be coming to a meeting of the minds about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Thomas has some very deep problems, and Brooke, being more objective than Taylor, has seen these, and during the time when Taylor was presumed dead, Brooke helped raise him. Brooke may have to approach helping Taylor see what she perhaps hasn’t wanted to, but carefully, so it is not taken as an attack.
Just talking about Taylor’s missing years when Thomas was growing up and as a teenager may help Taylor see patterns she didn’t realize previously. Then they possibly can approach the subject of Thomas and his issues in a compassionate manner, not an adversarial one, and find him some real help.
