The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease there’s a great way for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to get revenge on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Diane’s forbidden connection with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) could come in handy, since he could get her Phyllis’ former hotel, The Grand Phoenix-here’s how.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chancellor-Winters Owns The Hotel
Since Phyllis sold the Grand Phoenix to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that means Chancellor-Winters owns the hotel. While Tucker denied to his son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that he was the CEO after Hamilton-Winters, he’s still got his mole, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in the thick of things. Phyllis and Diane are both losing points rapidly with their war over at Marchetti, and just because they work for their grown children it doesn’t make them safe.
As for Diane, she’s had nothing but trouble with suspicions over her and Tucker having a connection in Los Angeles, why not take advantage of it? Phyllis and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) have been leading the charge, although Tucker’s ex, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) isn’t happy either.
The Young And The Restless Updates – Jack Abbott In The Middle, The Rest Will Follow
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is already not happy with Diane since the rumored connection between her and Tucker in Los Angeles is making sense to him, and she didn’t divulge it. Of course, it takes more than a Bentley in common and the word of Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) who Jack never trusted either, that coming via Nikki. Deacon’s past connection to Diane in Genoa City is clear, he helped her fake her death, and led Nikki, who Jack was also married to at one time, off the wagon. But he didn’t know Tucker, and what would he get out of dishing dirt to Nikki about Diane; still, the evidence is compelling. Jack is busy trying to protect Ashley against Tucker so what if Diane is in cahoots with him; he’s in a prime strike zone for Phyllis against Diane.
Diane Jenkins On The Defensive
All these intertwining accusations and ties to her past in LA skyrocketed when Tucker showed up, although it looks like all he wanted her to do was report on Ashley. He and she appear to have the same agenda; rebuild relationships with their children and their exes, and that does kind of make sense. Misery does love company, after all; so how does she get the Grand Phoenix instead of Phyllis if they get fired from Marchetti?
Audra will no doubt tell Tucker what happened with Nate, and Nate goes to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and she’ll still try to take over the company, stalled IPO or not. Tucker funds a buyout of Newman to get Chancellor-Winters back in the family, and helping him win Ashley back gets Diane a prize – the hotel.
