The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal Henry Joseph Samiri back on the scene as Douglas Forrester just as the little boy has a heart-to-heart with his dad.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – A Little Bit Of Familiarity
While we take nothing away from the talents of young Django Ferri, it was jarring to watch this emotional story play out about who gets custody of Douglas while someone else was in the role. Fans had become attached to Henry Joseph Samiri as Douglas for several years and he is back this week so Douglas can finally have a bit of a say in what is going on around him.
While Douglas loves his dad, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), and also loves being with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), who he thinks of as his mom, nobody has really asked him what he thinks and how he has been doing with all this adult drama going on around him. But finally, Douglas and Thomas sit down for a chat.
“I think Douglas does miss living with his mom, Liam [Spencer, Scott Clifton], and Beth, even though it’s fun living with his dad,” Samiri said in the October 17, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “It’s fun because there are so many things to do and everyone treats him like a very special guest.”
So, that leaves Douglas unsure about what to do and in turn, leaves Thomas torn.
The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Where Has Henry Joseph Samiri Been?
The only reason Douglas was recast with Django Ferri playing the character is that Samiri was off filming a series that took him away from his home in Los Angeles.
“I was working on a new show called The Watchful Eye. It was being filmed in Vancouver, Canada over five months and I needed to live there.”
However, he is happy to be back at CBS, where he has played Douglas since he was just a mere five years old. “I love being back in California and being back at CBS feels like home to me.”
