The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Billy saying some pretty nice things to Chelsea and Chelsea deciding now is as good a time as ever to plant a kiss on him.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Major Misunderstanding?

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is leaving the podcast world because that’s what Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) wants him to do, but that doesn’t mean he thinks Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) should be without a job. In fact, he wants her to have her own podcast. Chelsea admits she is not quite ready for this so the pair gets to planning their last show together and that’s when things get dicey.

It seems Billy has really enjoyed his partnership with Chelsea and he has nothing but complimentary things to say about this woman. As Billy lays on the compliments thick and tells her he never felt such a connection with anyone before, Chelsea leans in for a big kiss and then just takes it for herself.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Billy Abbott Pulls Away

Too bad Billy was just talking about a professional connection and he stops the kiss (almost) immediately. He is with Lily and happy to share his life with her. He has no interest in Chelsea that way, or at least that is what he tells himself. To us, it looks like he really enjoys being with Chelsea and hates giving up their job and their friendship.

As for Chelsea, she is pretty humiliated when Billy rejects her but takes it all in stride. She also hopes this doesn’t ruin her chances of being more involved with Johnny Abbott. After all, she struck out with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) last week and if this is going to happen, she needs to have Billy on her side.

However, Chelsea may just scare Billy away with that kiss, and her chances of Johnny knowing she is his bio mom may go right up in smoke because of this one impulsive act.

Of course, we know Chelsea is a woman who never, ever gives up, and when she has someone or something on her mind, she becomes obsessive — and sometimes she gets dangerously obsessive.
