Lori Loughlin

Hallmark spoilers and updates tease that the network has quietly revived some of Lori Loughlin’s previous movies. Fans have started to notice, and they’re celebrating the good news.

Hallmark Channel News: Loughlin’s College Admissions Scandal

Fans may recall that the Full House star got involved in the nationwide college admission scandal.

Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, paid $500,000 to ensure their daughters land a spot at the University of Southern California.

The court found her guilty and sentenced her to a two-month prison sentence at a medium security federal prison in Victorville, California. She was also ordered to pay a $150,000 fine and to render 100 hours of community service.

When the college admission scandal broke, Hallmark Channel cut ties with her. She was written off from When Calls The Heart, where she played Abigail Stanton from 2014 to 2019. Not only that, Hallmark stopped airing the actress’ movies and shows.

In 2021, the actress turned to scripted television. She reprised her role as Abigail in the WCTH spinoff titled When Hope Calls.

Hallmark Channel News: Rings Back Loughlin’s Movies

Hallmark gradually brought back some of Loughlin’s movies throughout the summer. The Garage Sale Mysteries returned to the small screens after Hallmark stopped airing it following the college admissions scandal.

In a Facebook post back on July 23, Hallmark Movies Now urged viewers to tune in to watch Garage Sale Mysteries.

“Stream the first three Garage Sale Mysteries now available on #HallmarkMoviesNow!” as per the post.

Fans immediately took to social media to celebrate the good news.

One fan tweeted, “GARAGE SALE MYSTERY IS COMING BACK ON HALLMARK MOVIES NOW GREAT I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO WATCH THEM. WELCOME BACK LORI @HMNow.”

Will Hallmark Bring Loughlin Back Into The Fold?

Hallmark previously said that there are no plans to cast her in the future. However, When Calls The Heart executive producer Brian Bird previously said that he supports the idea of bringing Loughlin back to Hope Valley again.

He revealed that they had conversations with the network regarding her return. However, the powers-that-be decided that it wasn’t the right time. So, they offered Loughlin another chance by bringing her character to Brookfield.

In a previous interview, Bird revealed that he tried to get the actress back on WCTH before he joined the When Calls Hope spinoff.
