The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Chelsea Blames Herself For Rey’s Death
The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and rumors tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will blame herself for Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death after the wreck with Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) that takes his life in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!
The Young and The Restless Spoilers – If Chelsea Lawson Hadn’t Insisted Rey Rosales Come To The Game In Chicago, He’d Be Alive
Viewers of The Young and The Restless can understand how Chelsea might blame herself for Rey’s death because if she hadn’t insisted he come to the game in Chicago with her and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) he’d still be alive! Chelsea and Connor were lucky that they weren’t injured any more than they were since they all went in the same car, and Connor had become very attached to Rey. Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Chelsea will worry about how Connor will deal with having Rey die in front of them – will he blame his Aunt Victoria, will he realize Rey can’t come back? Connor was away at summer camp when Calvin Boudreau (John Burke) up and died on her, and Connor wasn’t that all attached to him anyway! Then there’s the guilt – even though Rey had forgiven her for poisoning him when she tried to frame her ex Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and they’d become close friends, Chelsea feels so guilty.
The Young And The Restless Updates – Adam Newman Will Try To Comfort Chelsea Lawson And Support Her
Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Adam try to comfort Chelsea, and while Connor may be banged up and be dealing with losing his big brother’s best friend Rey, at least he won’t be seriously hurt. If he were, Adam and Chelsea would be trying to comfort and support each other, and Adam would be devastated if he were to lose his son; fortunately, it doesn’t look like the little guy will be hurt badly in the wreck! Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine that for Adam, it had been beyond awkward to see the man who always had despised him being looked up to by his son, but he certainly didn’t wish death on Rey. Adam too will be concerned about how Connor will deal with the death of someone close for the first time in his young life, at least that he’s old enough to remember – Connor was just a baby when Adam disappeared and was presumed dead.
Chelsea Lawson Will Always Remember Rey Rosales’ Kindness And Acceptance
Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine that Rey made a big impression on Chelsea in the few months that she really came to know him well. She will always remember his kindness and acceptance of her, and his understanding even though she was the cause of him being so ill when she tried to frame Adam for his attempted murder.
But viewers of the Young and The Restless can understand why his kindness and forgiveness towards her would make Chelsea feel even more guilty and more responsible for his death, even though in her mind she knows it was an accident. Adam reminds her it would have been much worse had she not been able to go at the last minute, and Connor has been with Rey by themselves as originally planned! Luckily, the Newmans got there right away when Victoria crashed and was nearby to help, but it would have been worse had Connor not had his mother there when Rey perished!
