The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Doesn’t Know His Own Daughter Overstepped His Boundaries
Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember from a recent episode that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) way overstepped her authority and called Locke and told him she’s been making the rules in this acquisition! Victor had told her he was buying Cyaxeres Media since she wasn’t interested, and that he was going to have her hated half-sibling Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) run it. Of course, that enraged Victoria and she had to ruin that deal so she called Locke.
Victor didn’t know anything about it, but he still owns Newman Enterprises and made that clear to her in the same meeting where he told her about purchasing the media company and having Adam run it. Victor may find himself in a battle with multiple opponents as he begins to make his moves. Ashland Locke is known to be a fairly even match with Victor himself in ruthless dealings, and as Victoria acts in her father’s place without her father’s knowledge, she may be biting off more than she can chew.
After all, he isn’t called the Locke Ness Monster for no reason. Everyone knows who he is and what he is as well! Chances are, Victoria’s intention is to cut her father and Adam out of the deal and use the same tactics as she used on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) when she bought the debt on the Grand Phoenix, which effectively bought the hotel itself out from under Phyllis!
The Young And The Restless Updates – All The Players Get Ready To Make Their Moves
Not only are Victor and Victoria competing for the media company, so is Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). His partner at ChancComm, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) had already told Billy that their budget would not allow the acquisition of the Cyaxeres company but Billy went to his mother, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), and talked to her about financing concerns.
So now Victor is unknowingly competing against both Victoria and Billy, and by extension, Jill for the media company. Victor will be shocked to find that Victoria has taken over the negotiations and that he has no say in the bargaining with Locke! When Victor told Victoria to be ruthless, he certainly didn’t intend for her to turn her ruthlessness on her own father! He will simply need to get with Ashland Locke privately and advise him that Victoria was not authorized to speak on his behalf, and Victor will have no problems arranging that.
As far as Billy Boy, when he finds that he is trying to get in on the action as well, he can simply outbid him because his pockets are much deeper than Billy’s and even deeper than Jill’s! Victor should have no problem getting the new media company under his control so he can start making plans with Adam to run it!
