Hilary Talks About Experiencing Lightning Crotch With Her Third Pregnancy
In the TMI moment, the 33-year-old actress who is due to give birth to her third child any day now described an “awful” pain in an intimate area. She said, “I didn’t have it with the other kids, so I texted my midwife the other day and I was like, ‘What’s up with the stabbing pain in my vagina? I’m not feeling this.”
She continued, “It feels awful. Like you’re being struck by lightning and she just wrote back, ‘Oh lightning crotch’ like it was no big thing and I was like, ‘This is quite traumatic.’ Like, it’ll just strike, and all of a sudden you’re doubled over, and then it’s gone.”
The Actress Is Due To Give Birth To Her Second Child With Husband Matthew Koma
Hilary noted that in more scientific terms, this feeling means that “the baby is getting ready for birth”, i.e lowering, so the mother can get a full lung supply of air, which the expectant mom shared she hasn’t been able to do in months.
In response guest host Brooke Baldwin said, “So that’s a new concept for you—you can breathe. And you’re having a lightning situation down there—” to which Hilary replied I’m not sure which is better.”
Hilary shares son Luca with her ex, Mike Comrie, and this will be her second child with husband Matthew Koma. And despite the less than pleasant down-under feels, the actress and singer – who is mother to Luca, 8, and Banks, 2- said that this third pregnancy has been “the best pregnancy so far.”
